Try following things out to improve the quality of your experience as a whole:

KEPE YOUR FEET FIRM:

It is the first and th fundamental thing about biking. You are going to go through different surfaces that are made uneven so keep your feet firm on the pedals. A fail can cost you a lot as the entire ground is full off dangerously pointed stones. Practice firmness and grip before taking your bike on the mountain. It is a priority to have a safe and fantastic experience.

PICK THE RIGHT HELMET:

A good helmet is not only the one which is made up of sturdy material, but it should accurately fit te circumference of your head as well. As the surface is uneven, it should not move and should exactly fit. The straps should be comfortable and stable. It should also have a headlamp for when the sun goes out.

USE BRAKES!

Acknowledge the great gift you have in the form of brakes and use them well. Press both of them very gently and slowly to stop without tipping over. If you press the brakes at once, it will cause the bike to stop all at once increasing the chance of falling.

Press them in the proper manner for safety and effectiveness.
